There is a woman that is in the waiting room that updates all the families when she is notified by the O.R. with a new update.
She just came over and informed us that everything is good and Cole's surgery is underway as of 7:40 a.m.

Dear Matt and Laura and all of the family: You are in our prayers right now, as little Cole's surgery is in progress.
We just got back from Nashville, TN last evening having visited with Phil and Brandi and Isabella over the 4th of July and are just getting to read your e-mail about Cole's surgery.
We love you all and know that Little Cole is in the Lord's hands.

We know right where you are at... Our daughter Rachel, who is a beautiful 19 years old now, had emergency open heart surgery at 2 weeks of age...

Thinking of you and praying this morning! I can see Tubbs McGee doing his flirting routine with Millie and everyone else who comes in his path. He is SO sweet. And, his flirting skills are the stuff of legends. That smile, those eyes, those feet kicking for joy, you know! If you need anything at all, just call and we'll be there. In the meantime, we love you and can't wait for the good news that surgery is over, it was a big success, and that Cole is doing great.
